Kindle Language Interactive Study Tools

The Amazon Kindle has various tools for brushing up your language skills. Their 24/7 Tutor programs for French, German, Italian, and Spanish are now on sale for a limited time! Whether you get one for vocabulary, basic phrases, or whether you buy both programs, you can use these tools to keep your language knowledge fresh!

In the Spanish Vocabulary 24/7 Tutor, you will be asked to first select a category. You can choose from:

  • Travel
  • Home
  • Office, School
  • Countryside
  • Around Town
  • Other Nouns
  • Food, Drink
  • Clothing
  • Weather
  • Time & Date

And this is just page 1 of 2! On page 2, you can choose from:

  • Time Phrases
  • Pronouns
  • Misc
  • Adjectives 1
  • Adjectives 2
  • Opposites 1
  • Opposites 2
  • Colors
  • Other Descriptive
  • Numbers

As you can see, there’s much to choose from in just this simple program.

After you click on whichever category you want to study, there will be a choice between Study List and other various studying techniques. You can take a multiple choice quiz, do a puzzle, complete a “write in” short answer quiz, or use flash cards in order to master the multiple page list of vocabulary words!

I chose the category Family, Friends. I then clicked on Study List to go through 3 pages of vocabulary words. The words have indicators for whether they are masculine (if indeed they can be given the feminine “a” to indicate a female instead) or general. Once I went through the list, I took the 26 question multiple choice quiz. 100%! =D
