PULLMAN, Wash. – As Bustad Hall employees arrived at work Monday morning, some witnessed two noisy magpies dive-bombing a great horned owl on a ledge of the building. Henry Moore Jr., photographer in the Biomedical Communications Unit of the College of Veterinary Medicine, captured these photos. The magpies have a nest in the area, said Charlie Powell, public information officer for the college.
